To begin with, some terminology. A register class is the class to which a pupil nominally
belongs. The pupils in a register class may attend classes together. These are referred to
as normal classes. The pupils may also split up to attend subjects of their choice where
they may join pupils from other register classes in the same grade. These are called
combination classes.
It is important to begin with the combination classes. Two combinations are illustrated
here. In the first, subject choices are BECON, ART, LATIN, MUSIC, ACC, TYPE1, TYPE2.
These classes are held simultaneously, given by the teachers shown. Not all of the
register classes in the grade participate in this combination. Register classes A and B
are excluded from the combination, as shown by the # signs. How to enter a combination
will be described more fully in the next tab.
At first you will see an empty screen like the one shown on the left. Click on the
+ sign next to the grade and then on the word Combinations. The Add button will be enabled.
Click on the Add button to begin entering a combination as described in the next tab.
